This is the combined account of dA users (artist) and (writer).

Currently, we're working on a comic to be called UV Catastrophe. It's a superhero comic based around the Gulf Coast, specifically Mobile, Alabama.

Our main heroes - Thinktank, Combustion, and Pigment - were entering their first year of college when a solar flare triggered their hidden powers. Thinktank, a smart, grounded, but lonely kid, gained the ability to code like no one's business - even code super powers, which he can upload into his body via a USB port in his arm. Combustion, an arrogant, charismatic jock, gains power over fire. Pigment, a bubbly, fun, Hispanic art student, can draw anything to life, though it doesn't last long. They eventually team up with Maestro and Treble, a singer and flutist whose powers lie in their respective musical talents, and Lycanfeather, a flying werewolf who can't control what he does when in wolf form. Throughout it all, they learn the true origins of their power, what sacrifice really is, and how to survive when your world falls apart.
